Well, today marks our four month anniversary! We have been settled in our new home with our four children and it feels GREAT to have some stabolity after Hurrican Ike. It's amazing how the hurrican hit over 6 months ago and how there is still alot of adjusting and maintaining due to this major catastrophe. Yet in it all, God has been so good. I look back and having to move three times with 4 children under five.....the youngest being a newborn. Whoa and Whew! Where would I be without a wonderful husband, awesome church and amazing friends....God is so GOOD!
I am so loving the Kingsbridge neighborhood too. This was truly a blessing...our RAINBOW after the storm. Our family moved here from Springfield, Missouri, where my husband had just completed Bible School at Evangel University. I was not adjusting well to our new environment and to have 2 children in 11 1/2 months...well you get the picture. Yet, God is so GOOD!
I am loving my church at Sugarland Vineyard, I am loving my homegroup and 'Til Tuesday mother's small group.....I am also looking forward to the children attending their new schools after meeting some wonderful neighbors.
We still need a few things in the house (bedroom furniture, dining room set, living room furniture) but , we have a a very nice home. God is GOOD! I look forward to getting acclamated to this new environment. Houston finally feels like HOME!
